The cheapest way may be to get a charter flight (package holiday airline like Monarch) to Orlando and then catch an internal flight to Kentucky, all depends when you're going, but if it's July/August I would recommend this option.

cheapest would be to jump on the back of a bird and hold on tight,lol. Sorry there is no cheap way in summer, It cost me $400 to go from New York to California, on expedia and that was the cheapest I found.
