If anyone has read the book A Monk Swimming by Malachy McCourt you should know what this means. Tell me if you liked the book and what the title means?!

I read the book. It was not nearly as good as his brother Frank McCourt's books (Angela's Ashes, 'Tis and Teacher Man.) Malachy McCourt is a bit of a braggart, and thinks his drunken exploits are more interesting than they are.

The title is a reference to mishearing the words "amongst women" as in " Blessed art thou amongst women" When McCourt was a child he thought people were saying "Blessed art thou, a monk swimming". That type of mistake is called a mondegreen, and some of them are really funny. Check out some more of them at the link in source below.
