well, there's not ALWAYS going to be a summer/spring. eventually the sun will die - even though it's in it's infancy now. it will go through the normal cycle that all stars do once it burns out all of it's gases. But, if there were no summer/spring I doubt that there would be life on earth. The distance between the Sun and the Earth are so perfect for life, that if it were off just enough to do away with Summer/Sping - life would cease to exist. It'd look more like mars.

There will ALWAYS be a Spring and a Summer as well as a Fall and a Winter...it IS biblical...not some hokus pokus from folks who are so far out in left or right field that they can't even see the forest for the trees!

Planets are spherical enough as to care not for allisies, wind trends and seasons, except for autumm, for the leaf renewal and the chill so missed to bathers. News would call to nature and sure some women would be better mothers on fashion streaks and less b.s. Now football would be moved forward for cooler wind, and wine is to be noticed always for sure. Pelicans and gulls would expand their dominions, be sure they want to, and some gadgets would be made by mammals who miss summer and their scientific explanations, such as the diminishing of whales on shore and the ozone layer getting bigger with no coolants working.

There would be vastly different vegetation left on the planet. Most plants that animals use for food would not exist - but it's hard to say if the same animals would even exist without those seasons, since plant and animal evolution are linked.

That would mean there was no winter because you need heat to make snow and if there is no heat than there is no snow or rain and it would just be fall and would be very cold for most of the year.

Then Autumn and Winter would slam together in a huge collision around mid-June, causing great catastrophe and massive loss of life and limb.
Oh, yes, and you'd get a lot of robins and butterflies really, really mad at you!

Crops would fail. Livestock and wild animals would die of starvation. Eventually people would die of starvation. Depending on the temperature, some people might freeze to death.
