The directions for digital tests state not to take the line(s) into consideration. If you still think you may be pregnant, wait a couple of days and re-test. Your hormone levels may not be high enough just yet for a pregnancy test to detect. I didn't get a positive result until close to 3 weeks after conceiving.

Digital tests read differently than the 2 line tests, so your test is more likely to be negative. I bought the clear blue digital 3 pack, two were deffective, they didn't say anything but they had 2 lines in the back and the third one said negative and it had 2 lines in the back too and it was right I was not pregnant, so I recommend you to use the easy 1 line 2 lines, not to mention they are just more affordables than the digital ones. Good luck.

A digital test doesn't have lines on it...it should read either "pregnant" or "not pregnant". If there were lines on the screen, it probably means either you didn't pee enough on the strip, or you waited too long to read the results. The back of the box should have a list of common "error" type readings and waht they mean. Either the back of the box or the paper insert that came wiht the test. THere also should be an 800 number on the box. Call them and ask them.

digital pt is not read like the regular ones. it is very common to get a negative result and two lines on the stick.that happens because digital tests measure not only hcg ( the hormone that regular pregnancy tests measure-you don't have it in ur system unless you're pregnant ) but also lth ( another hormone that surges around 15 days before ur next period to trigger ovulation- it is always present in ur body, even in small quantities).so, chances are you're not pregnant but remember that some digital tests ( like clearblue) are not that sensitive and if u take them too early u might get a false negative. wait a few more days ( i know its very hard ! ) and take another test.

You should probably wait a couple of days and then take another one. I took two and they came back negative, but when I still didn't get my period, I took a third, and it was positive. Home pregnancy test are only accurate for a little while. Check the box and it should say for how long.
