I breast feed non exclusively to my one year old, and it makes my menstraul cycles abnormal, but I know I still ovulate every month. My fiance and I began trying to conceive 4 weeks ago and I have began charting to help us succeed. I started the charting on the 28th of this month and my waking temp since then has been 98.7, 98.8, and then today's is 98.9. I do not know if it is because I'm pregnant or because my normal is higher than I thought. Like I said, I just started the charting on the 28th so it's too soon to tell. One other thing is I have been cramping on my right side and my cervical fluid is mostly dry till I use the restroom, than it's white and lotiony. Excuse the info it its too much. Please, if you can give any info, I would appreciate it.

I took a pregnancy test every friday from the day we started trying and it came out negative for the first 6 weeks and then positive on the 7th. You need to wait long enough for the horomone to build up.

Stop having sex immediately and go see an obgyn. It's quite possible that you have an infection and need to get that taken care of immediately. If you do have an infection, then you will need to have your husband get checked out as well since he may have it as well. The cramping on your right side is probably you ovulating, but trying to concieve in the state you may be in is not wise. Once you get the all clear on your health, then try concieving. I wouldn't chart your progress because it won't help. Let the pregnancy be a surprise as it adds to the splendor of it all.
Also, I know breastfeeding is best and some women continue to breastfeed until their children are around 3 years old, however, it may be wise for you to ween your baby and slowly start him on some regular whole milk. Make sure it's whole because the fat is still very healthy for your child at this time.
I hope this helps and good luck.

First of all if you are still breast feeding then you may not be ovulating regularly. The hormones required to produce milk often prevent ovulation.
However , if you get a negative test and still suspect pregnancy you should wait 3 days and retest. The hcg level is often too low in the beginning to register a + result. Early in pregnancy the hcg level doubles about every 3 days so allow time for this to happen then retest. If you do not get pregnant you may want to consider weening the first baby to get ovulation regulated and to ensure you have all the vitamins and minerals in you that the second child will require during the pregnancy . In any case be sure and start follic acid or prenatal vitamins if you haven't already.

You need to wait at least 4 days to do another test. Daily testing is just a waste. The hormone levels have to rise up enough for a test to be accuarate so a 7 day wait would give a definite result (providing you have waited until your period is due to start testing).

Without a history of your temps, the temps you are currently getting mean nothing. I would wait 4 days and test again.

if youve already missed your period and have taken one, wait about another week or two or go to a doctor for a blood test it may not show in your urine sometimes

2 weeks. It takes awhile for the sperm to swim up to the egg. After two weeks the sperm should all be dead, or one could of reached the egg.
