I would take time to read it so that I can fully understand the scenario. If I get finished reading it and I really liked it, then I'd read it again. Besides, reading a book twice, you might catch something that you didn't notice before.

This is a good question, but it depends on what works for you. I just read a book titled " A Piece of Cake" by Cupcake Brown and after I started I couldn't put it down ( besides breaks for lunch, dinner, etc.), until i finished it. I understood it to the uptinth degree because I could relate to it. Then there are other books that are more complex where I need to read a paragraph or two, then meditate on it...let it digest before I continue. Hope it helps!

If I really like a book I have read it in one day or I have taken my time reading it. Either way it doesn't matter because you can always read it again. But usually if a book is really really good I'll read it as fast as possible and then later I will read it again but slower to understand it better.

hi, when i read a book i like to come to a stopping point. then i go back and perhaps read a passage or two again. i then ponder over the things i have read. so, that i can absorb all of the information. this way i can draw more from the book no matter how exciting or informative it is. this helps me to remember it and call to mind details for later on. then i move on to the next part of the book and repeat the same. hope this helps u.

It is according to the type of book. If it is a thriller that you cannot put down then keep reading. If it is Spiritual or self help then absorb a little and then pick it back up again. Do not race to finish it if you do not comprehend the message. I have books that I have read for years-laying around to re-read a paragraph for inspiration. I call these Library or Bathroom books :)

Ok, I read the Amityville Horror, it's a fairly long book, I guess... and it took me about 24 hours to read it, start to finish. I liked it, so I spent a lot of time reading it, and I did understand it because it isn't a complex book. I can't read something unless I feel like reading it, otherwise I can't pay attention. But it held my attention and yeah, I finished it quickly.

If I was reading a book I truly enjoyed I couldn't put it down I would try to finish it in one day. Especially if the book is very interesting and you can't wait to see what will happen next.
