i have a compaq nc6220 , its well equipped laptop , but i guess the displaydriver or some thing else is wrong ,, any suggestions

Update the video driver. Look up the specifications for your laptop and then go to the Video Card website and download the latest driver. That should do the trick.

Here are the recommendations, to run google earth..
Also, it is best to run it at 1024 by 768 pixels. To change the settings, right click an empty spot on the desktop, click properties, then settings, move the slider to 1024 by 768 pixels, and it should run great..good luck..click it-->

Updating the driver mught fix the problem anyway check out re or alse buy a new graphics card

max out your ram by going to circuit city or best buy and update your video card drivers at www.windowsupdate.com

Try openGL mode. Some graphics cards crash in DirectX mode, and some cards crash in openGL mode. To change modes, go to google earth's folder in your start menu and choose change to (Insert mode here)
