Why would British Move to America and how do they deal ?

I've seen some british who move to america. Why would they? And what is some of the problems they face here? The language, yeah it's bit different but not so much as a spanish speaker or brazilian speaker. so anything else?

My brother in law is British and loves it here. He doesn't want to go back except visit his family once a year. He hasn't really faced too many problems. Just some jobs he couldn't get until he became a citizen.
