I am looking for a name that means survivor. I'm hoping to adopt a puppy that has been through a lot, and if she survives, she is going to need a good name.

I named my cat samurai jack cause I found him on the side of the road with his eyes still shut, and I took him to the vet and the vet said she would have given up on him but he fought so hard to stay alive, and he wouldnt stop batting at the vet even though he had a IV sticking out of his neck that was half the size of his neck..
he was so tiny his eyes hadnt opened and they couldnt IV him in the arm...
so i figured samurai was a good term... he fought it all the way as hard as he could

Samurai Jack
but just the samurai before something else...
lol
and thats not a girls name...
maybe some kind of female warrior name would work

Sam is a good female name...
short for samurai too..
or short for samantha
*shrugs*
