No argument from me about Mickey Mantle's, although it's part of a chain. The city's only 5-star restaurant is the Coach House, 6437 Avondale Dr., Nichols Hills. Expect to pay a minimum of $50 per person, but it's excellent.

I'm also fond of Junior's in the Oil Center on Northwest Expressway. Perfect steaks, good bar and an amazing Ceasar salad. Outstanding in a 1970 sort of way. $30 per person at least.

For seafood, I like Pearl's at Lake Hefner's East Wharf.

Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill

if you can get in Toby Keith's is good in Bricktown. Cattlemen's is also really good but for value for your money Shorty Smalls on Reno straight North of the airport.
