I just watched 10 videos and I am shocked by what passes for music. You would think they are marketing for whores.

I could not agree with you more. It seems as though there is this vapidness in the eyes of the newer musicians. (either that or dollar signs) It's as though there is nothing going on inside those pretty little heads. Where is the passion? Where is the intelligence? Definitley not on MTV. Or anywhere on tv for that matter.

There is also good musics and videos out there. Read reviews that are available on the web and make sure that the entertainment is not part of the "cesspool" The critical step is to be discerning. Check out the source websites below.
Much of the crap out there is there in order to protect the rights of the 5% who need to see that form of entertainment . Make a family policy and stick to it.

I agree. Adults can handle it but it causes the younger generation to think that the behavior and dress depicted in the video is the norm and acceptable . So they try to imitate it and think that their parents are the worse thing breathing for not wanting them to act and dress like what is shown on TV.
