picking the ship tells me that you are a type of person who thinks out of the box, unfortunately, that is not an option. :)

Nope, you can only take one thing with you. And no stuffing them in cars or bags. Just one thing (or person).

Some of these answers are making me happy and sad all at once.

Your question makes me sad to even consider, I have four kids, a husband, an extended family that I love. I don't think I could make that decision unless I was really on that sinking ship. And if faced with that kind of decision I might just want to go down with my loved ones, after I put my children in the free seat of course.

I'd jump off the boat and swim like a bat out a hell, having my parents and my husband and the rest of my family in the same ship would drive me to madness!! If I had to pick I'd pick my best friend, 8 years and never once have fought!

Why was your car on the ship? Would the choice given to you be the same choice given to your mother, your kids, so that everyone stands a fair chance of surviving?
