It can cause difficulty nursing, but other than that, no. Just watch out for any other changes in how your breast looks in the area. There is a rare form of breast cancer that affects how the breast looks and one of the symptoms is inverted nipples. HOWEVER, if everything else is perfectly normal looking, then you are fine.

As long as they've always been that way, it's normal. If they've just recently become inverted, you want to be screened for the type of breast cancer a previous answerer mentioned.

I once dated a lady with both nipples inverted. It didn't affect her sexual urges--maybe her mind but not the sex.

LOL. I have one. I was always embarassed about it, because if it was cold everyone would notice.
I just wear thicker bras and no one but my and my other half know. It's fine though, nothing ab normal.
