For washing dishes by hand, not electric dishwashers. I don't have one.

I just started buying that Dawn soap that foams. I LOVE it! I'm not one of those brand conscious people, but my dishes don't have a greasy residue like other soaps (including Dawn's regular soap) and it's more fun to use and convenient.

I use Joy with bleach alternative. I like the extra insurance that there are no germs left on my dishes. And Joy has a grapefruit scent that I love.

dawn you can use very little and does lots of dishes without having to keep adding more liquid

Has to be Dawn, as it cuts grease and cleans dirt much better than any other.
