umm they should be happy that you are even their friends to begin with.

I think this has to do with who you are hanging out with and not gay people. If people make you feel bad for who you are, then walk away. You do not need people in your life calling you friend that make you feel bad about yourself. There are enough strangers who try to break you down, do not let those people become friends!

I have seen this very strange phenomenon before. Some gays go around spouting words like breeders and etc as if it is so wrong to be gay or straight; I wouldn't want to make any ones preferences an issue whether or not they are different from mine.

I'm sorry if they do that. Nearly all of my partners and my friends are straight -- and we certainly don't do that to them. Then again we think that sex is wonderful, and as long as its consenting everything is fine. We love each other, we can only hope that they love their wives as much as we love each other (some are not married, so g/fs or insert appropriate word).

On the other hand, gay people get hurt alot -- and they may feel betrayed by straights, because it is straights -- mostly Wingnuts -- that do it. If they are making you feel badly for that, I am again, truly sorry. You are not the wingnut.

Warm thoughts,

Reyn

What are you talking about? I've never come across that phenomenon in my life, and I know plenty of gay people. Maybe they're just using a bit of reverse psychology because they're sick of you trying to make them feel bad for being gay.

I think personally that you are associating with people that are kinda stupid. Don't think it's gay folks in general just the retarted gay folks YOU know. Promise, I have gay friends and not one of them has ever "made me" feel bad for being straight.

the gay community already have enough **** to deal with in society. hell, gay men are sometimes hostile to other gay men because of their physical appearance. if they are your real friends they wouldn't put you down or make you feel like an insecure being. the ones who have much respect for you will always accept you no matter what.

Because they aren't real friends. Gay people are the ones who should be open about these things, from my experience I know what it is like to be judged based on sexual orientation, so should they, It is never right to judge others

I dunno...thats a tuff question cuz I've never encounterred it. How do they try to make you feel bad? You mean like feel guilty? Or stereotype you because you're straight. I'd just tel them, talk to em, ask em. Real friends shouldn;t do that. No matter their sexuality or yours.

that's really sad, dude. I have lots of straight friends, and we don't give trouble to each other for who we are. whether your friends are gay or straight, if they make you feel bad about yourself, maybe you need new friends! I never try to make any of my friends, gay or straight feel bad about who they are!

You should exsplain to them that you have your sexual prefrence just like they have theres . They should never make you uncomfortable if they do then there not true friends. Let them know that they should stop the nonsense and have a good time.
They need to accept you for you like you have accepted them.
