- Any time when the glaciers melt due to heat, spreading the see water on the earth;

- Any time when some asteroid falls on the earth from sky;

- Any time when a gigantic earthquake rocks the whole world;

- Any time when the earth itself caves in due to very deep empty spaces created by mining of the oils and minerals;

- Any time when greenhouse gases deplete completely the ozone zone above the atmosphere of the earth and the Sun is able to burn the whole creations of the world.

Like that, there may be so many other reasons which can lead to the disaster of the earth any time.

scientificly? Well, the sun will expand in about 4.5 billion years and that expansion will engulf earth. So, if nothing happens until then, thats when this world will end. If you are talking universe, then i have no idea. Its possible that one day, the universe will slow down and start to collapse and start coming inward, then everything will get collapsed with it and then the universe will end. But thats just a theory.
