i don't want to rebel or anything like that, i just want to know if guys like goth girls beter then stupid preps. what do you think? i don't have an "i don't care" aditud, i laugh i'm just like any other girl. what do i do. i want to do this before school starts.

The people that I know who follow the Gothic lifestyle are wonderful, but they accept me for me. If you want, try going into it slowly, see how people react. Examine events from last year in your school. Did there seem to be more Gothic girls dating? I don't really have any pref on a persons fashion choice. The real true accessory is what is in your heart. Why follow a crowd? Self expression is good, but why try to express something that you don't feel inside.

If by "Go goth" you mean should you suddenly wear too much eyeliner and only black clothes, then no. Chances are your parents and friends will think you've lost your mind. Goth isn't just the way you look, its a lifestyle. If you do, be ready for people to stare, keep asking you if you're depressed, and judge you without knowing you. (I have goth friends that go through this.) But in the end you have to do what makes you happy. If a guy doesn't take the time to get to know you and just stops liking you because you're "goth", then he wasn't worth it in the first place.

Only go goth if it's who you are- not for any other reason. The clothing means very little if that's not who you are, and we don't need more posers running around. And guys won't like you better, I don't think. I'm goth, in general, not just clothing- and a lot of guys are scared of me. So I doubt they like goths better- just be yourself, whoever that is!

Sweetheart, if going goth is something you want to do for yourself, then GO for it. But if it's just because you want to have a better chance of picking up guys, No. I've done goth, punk, drama nerd, and rebel. One look doesn't define who you are, THEY ALL DO!

If you have to ask, no. That seems to show that you are trying to seek approval from others for it instead of doing it for yourself. Besides, you wouldn't want a guy to like you JUST because you wear goth style clothes would you? Guys like girls who are confident with themselves! So be you, like who you are, and guys will follow who like you just that way!

Going gothic is more than just the looks. It's a totally new lifestyle. I would strongly advise against it. No good guys would like any girl better if she were gothic. that's no reason to change your whole life. A guy will come along and like you for who you are. Just wait for him.

I wouldn't. I have nothing against goth people I just think that when you are goth your personality doesnt show as much. You look dull and boring. I think that us girls look better when we aren't goth. That is up to you.

I wouldn't it totally ruins your style and chances of getting guys. Don't ruin your personal style and personality being goth. So no.
