Almay is good if you are on a budget and just really getting started with it. They have kits that you can get that help play up eyes, complete with instructions. They also have lines of care products for your face, all color coded for your skin type and numbered according step in your routine. I personally don't prefer any one brand over another. I like Burts Bees lip stuff, cover girls mascara, bare mineral's mineral veil, physician's formula sunscreen powder.... Sticking to one brand really doesn't work for everyone. Best of luck!

I like Clinique...it's a bit pricey but well worth the money. Plus they have different formulas so there is a type make-up for all skin types.

There isn't one kind that is the best! Because everyone you ask is going to have different opinions. You experiment and see which one you prefer! =)

I tried this makeup called bare minerals, by bare escentuals. I love it, it actually improved the way my skin looks when I dont wear it. You can buy it at Sephora, online.
