Step 1: Subtact cost from income to see total profit
192 - 120 = 72

Step 2: Divide total profit by profit per lamp to determine the number of lamps in the shipment
72 divided by 6 = 12

Answer 12 lamps

$192 - $120 = $72 profit / all lamps

$72 profit / all lamps
divide by
$6 profit / lamp

= 12 lamps

It's a poorly worded problem, as it is uncertain if $120 is cost per lamp or for a quantity of lamps.
