Well, a very famous Italian name is Tony.... And that was because back in the '40s when some Italian immigrants were entering a port at New York, They had stamped on their forehead: To:N.Y.

Thus they got the name Tony.

WOP= "With out papers". Italian immigrants when millions arrived in the early 1900s with no citizenship papers. It continued as a derogatory insult.
