like if a fire did happen can fireproof safe will always be there and be unharmed by the fire and are they a good idea to keep

put them into bank accounts, even after the banks burn down, you are insured 100,000 each account

Seriously though, I recommend you keep your money in the bank. If it's only a small amount you are keeping in the house, it would probably cost you more to buy a safe. If you buy the cheap ones, make sure you read the manual, some are only heat resistant and some are only fire resistant for up to 10 or 15 minutes. In that case you could just as well just burn your money now and forget about the safe.

yes they are fireproof... and a good idea... find a secure hidden place to hide it.... also those wall plug socket safes are good..( the ones that look like a wall socket) very cheap too, wrap the contents in a fire blanket as well whatever you buy.....

most safes say they are fire proof, but it is only to a certain temperature. Master Paint located in newton Kansas has developed a paint so fire does not go past it, any way that is what i have been told.
