"My Two Favorite Colors" were a series of infomercials that aired in the early 1990s. They advertised a cleaning solution that reportedly would be effective at removing anything from anything. Mostly, they succeeded at removing money from gullible customers' bank accounts.
The "two favorite colors" were attributed to a small child who painted, colored, or spilled them on all manner of surfaces, which the miracle product then removed.
Thanks for reminding me of this great part of my college experience: viewing late night tv while writing term papers and cramming for finals!
