Actually I don't think it will. The democratic party has fallen off the severe deep end of the left. The public does not support their left wing agenda (burning flags, gay marriage, raising taxes, spending more, bigger government, no defense, open borders, amnesty). But what is there now is the core of this group; and that is why I don't think you will see it implode.
I look forward to election eve. November this year when the left wing media has to eat some more crow after failing to take back the house or senate. Dean will be toasted and blamed.

Er, pretty long. We may have made some bad decisions in choosing candidates lately, but as long as evils afoot (break for all to laugh), the Democratic party will NEVER die! The question is, if the Dems continue to pick up power, will the Neocons try to take out the Dems, you now, assassinations and scandals. No rest for the right...

Imagine a country without a Democratic party...a one party system...this may work out for us Dems. You see, if the only people running the country are Republicans, they will finally have to take responsiblity for their mistakes. Whom will they blame them on? Republicans need Democrats and vice versa...we all need someone to blame our f--kups on other than ourselves.
Oh yeah...netjr: Democrats don't SUPPORT flag burning. It's protected in the Constitution...you know, the piece of paper that our leaders are SUPPOSED to follow. Therefore, you are not supposed to touch it. We think it's a dispicable act as well, but we don't think that it is such an important issue right now that we need to make an amendment. Social security, homeland security, immigration, the war...these are all issues we need to focus on NOW. Gay marriage, flag burning...they can wait.

Your grammar is poor. The Democrats will not implode but take over after the mid-term elections and win the presidency in 2008. With Bush's dismal approval rating, it's NEOCONS who are becoming extinct. NEOCONS are deranged.
