Ignorance. There are two ways to say that word, work with me here. 1) ig•no•rance and 2) ig•nor•ance. 1) meaning: lack of knowledge, shortage or complete absence of a particular thing. 2) meaning: to disregard, pay no attention to somebody or something.
Both apply because 1) it is ignorance that keeps these people from realizing that we all have rights. 2) because you should ignore anyone who judges you based on a good friends sexual orientation. People who can not except your friendship because of another friend you have is not worthy of you anyways. I grew up with a gay mother, telling people after we'd become "friends" was a way for me to judge who I really wanted in my inner circle.
Good luck in life and ALWAYS BE REAL!!

You're absolutely right!!!!! They are either jealous because they are gay themselves, and they don't want to really look into the mirror, or they are jealous because they wish to be open-hearted and open-minded. You keep doing what you're doing, a gay friend is no different from you. Much love and respect to you!

Has nothing to do with you.Its the prejudice over gays that's the problem.Unfortunately this is the world we live in.Makes me sick that people think they can be so cruel and think that they are right. What other people think sould never bother you just keep doing what you are doing and you will be blessed.

The reason why people get bothered is because they might think that you are turning gay.

Because people are scared of change, or different people, and gay people are still seen as 'different people' in society.
