"Will" refers to the willingness to spend a bunch of time learning the board positions.
Mind is thought. Will is the willingness to spend the time to gather the knowledge. The willingness to spend the time hunched over the board. The willingness to devote your life to the game. That is the "will".
And I don't have it, thanks. Got into other things earlier in life.
