With Linux or one of the BSDs installed, it would make a dandy server for some purposes. This avoids the problem of Microsoft making vast quantities of older hardware obsolete because the new version of Windows just won't install.

That said, finding someone who needs such a thing and yet can't afford current hardware will not be easy. eBay is a possiiblity, as is donation to a local high school to serve as a class project for just such a server reincarnation. And that will require finding an instructor willing to have a go at it. Perhaps a college?

Cash value on the ordinary market is likely to be, as others here suggest, nil.

I can think of a couple of possibilities in my neighborhood, so if you give up, drop me a line.

Im sorry but it isn't worth anything. The sad part is that Computer Technologie moves so fast that even if you buy something now of 500 dollars the worth of it just after a week can drop by 20 - 50 percent

The first place i would try looking is ebay.
There are people who do still have old computers,
Maybe someone would want it for parts. ( Though i find it highly unlikely
THe best of luck to you.

Try your luck at eBay. But it will not fetch a lot. $20 at most probably. Pentium II's are really outdated and the prices of computer systems these days you can get a whole system for $400 or $500.

It has value as a paperweight, a drink coaster, something cool you could put in a frame and hang on a wall. Take stuff off of it and make a keychain, all sorts of cool valuable uses.
