Lol...to the guy who said Gunz'n'Roses!! (That's not classic rock).
If you listen to classic rock (and it varies depending on your age), you will see alot of songs today that were redone (when you thought that the band who sang them were "original"). It is definitely an eye-opener.
For example, the Counting Crowes doing "Big Yellow Taxi" (which was originally done by Joan Baez).
Class rock (whether it is Chuck Berry or Grand Funk Railroad) definitely is terrific and in my opinion really opened up alot of different variety of musical tastes and styles that are shown today.

Classic Rock is the ****! There is so much originality in some of the earlier rock bands, like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. I am into all kinds of rock and go to a lot of metal concerts, but the majority of my collection is classic rock.

I love Classic rock......I was born in the wrong generation.....

Fleetwood Mac, The Band, Richard Marx, Lynyrd Synyrd, The Eagles, The Doobie Bros., Rolling Stones, The Doors, Boston, Santana, U2, Journey, Jethro Tull, etc.

There's songs I like, and there's songs I don't particularly like, the same as today's music. I think a lot of the classic rock is a lot more epic than today's music will ever be considered, and hopefully future generations will be introduced to the likes of Led Zepplin, Queen and Jimi Hendrix because it has staying power, unlike some of today's music.

though i'm only 31, i LOVE Classic Rock!!
some of my favorites are: The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, The Who, CCR, Crosby, Stills & Nash (without young), Jim Croce, E.L.O., Pink Floyd, Van Morrison, Steppenwolf, Cream, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Lou Reed/Velvet Underground, The Grateful Dead, Three Dog Night, the list goes on!
everything was so fresh and original in the 60's and 70's... music today lacks originality big time!!

I love it because that is the music that I grew up with. I also like alot of the new alternative rock, but I never get tired of the good ole classics!
