It’s been a while coming, but the news is now out that the new voice of Geico Gecko, in a hybrid Cockney London style, is Jake Wood, English comedian and actor

Dave Kelly does the voice in a British accent even though he is Irish. Actor Kelsey Grammer supplied the original voice for the Geico Gecko in the first ad though.

I don't know, but I was really upset when they changed his American accent to a British accent. What's up with that ?? Don't you think that's kind of odd ? .... I mean, what's that supposed to mean?
