Please help. I have had a headache pretty much every day for the past 3 months. I went to my doctor about it because in those 3 months I have had several really bad migraines. He told me to change my diet and they would go away. Well, diet has been changed and they are still there. It's awful. I am grumpy all of the time now. I don't have allergies so I know it's not caused by that. Usually the headaches are over my right eye or connect from my neck to the front of my head. I've tried migraine pills that you take at first sign of a headache and they worked great but are really expensive and I found myself taking them almost every day. I am tired of going through a big bottle of Excedrin migraine every couple of months. Any advice? Do you know what could be causing this and do you know how to get rid of it?

I drink about 100 oz of water a day, about 14 glasses, so I am a pretty hydraited person. I'll look into visiting an optomistrist b/c I already wear glasses, but I could need new ones.

You better find another doctor and have a cranial scan done, just in case. Sometimes you have to demand service, since most doctors don't want to do much more than give a pill and rush you out the door. If the scan is clean, which I hope it is, then you need to look at stress related causes.

Get a good massage therapist. Use lavender essential oil and apply it to your temples. Add several drops to a warm cloth and put them onto your head so it goes into your blood stream. Use it in a tepid bath so it goes into your pores and into your blood stream. Drink plenty of water, and chamomile tea. Use fish oil to help control the stress.

There are lots more ways, that are proven to work, if it is stress related.

Set up an eye exam. It is possible that you have undue eye strain and this may be causing you your headaches. I am 40 and was getting near-migrain headaches constently and eyeglasses have stopped the headaches.

My headaches and migraines run in my family. So I cannot help you there. When you get them try laying down with ice on your head. Or eat soft foods. That's what helps me. Fruit also.

Well, there is a solution. Go for a manual one-time treatment called Atlasprofilax. The effect on the self-healing power of your body is simply amazing - own experience. :-)

Just - the treatment is available in California and Europe only, costing approx. 220 dollars. It's really worth travelling far.

go to a neurologist. sounds like migraines and too many things can cause these. you may need to be on a medication daily to help keep from getting so many. then only need other things to take at first sign. don't let it continue, it's not safe to do so either. i've not found anything over the counter to help mine. there are some meds that aren't too expensive to take on a daily basis...ask your doctor!

i get migraine also i take about 50 Excedrin a week, it sounds like you may have a problem in your upper back that is causing this pain, a tight muscle can move your bones out of place and pinch a nerve causing migraines, i have had this for years

It could be caused from the way youre sleeping or where you are sleeping. I had the same thing but now i never sleep on my right side and bought a great bed...it could also be the which way your head is pointing...norht,south,east or west..it differs from people to people...but i would try something along those lines

go back to your doctor. migraine headaches are caused by restricted blood vessels in your brain. stress or eye strain can cause them too.
