I've been trying to prove this theory for a number of years by cracking one off at every available opportunity. My palms are still as hairless and soft as a babies. Have I exploded the myth?

I think you are confusing the masturbation myths with the madness myths.
First sign of madness: Looking for hairs in the palm of your hand.
What I heard was that masturbation makes you go blind!!

No it is not true>>
Masturbation rubs off the hairs on the palms of your hands due to friction!!
But the phenomena of hairy palms only happens to those people who are totally insane!! As the first sign of madness is: Hairs on the palms of the hand: The second sign is looking for them, and the third and most worrying sign of all: Is finding them!!

This is not true. If that were the case, most males would be walking around with hairy palms. This myth was created in order to stop adolescents from masturbating.

If you are going blind, that is caused by not eating enough carrots. and for your question of couse no, thats a myth, the skin of the palm is very rough for hair even animals have hairless palms.
