I am going on vacation in a week to the lake with my boyfriends family and a few friends. One of our friends began dating this girl a few months ago and they are coming too. I get insecure when I am around her because she has a six pack, tan, blonde, etc. I always feel like I may not be "good enough" for my boyfriend. Im not saying im ugly or fat because I dont think Im either but I get insecure because I dont tan, at all and I dont have a "perfect" body like her. Other girls may know how I feel. Can anyone give me advice on how I wont feel so insecure around her?

No matter what you do to improve yourself, or what you try to do to look better, there will always be someone out there who's prettier, smarter, darker, and more muscled. Take comfort from the fact that this is so for even this other chick. She's not perfect. She has flaws. There is someone out there who's prettier and tanner than her. The way girl's are nowadays she probably feels the same way about someone else. She probably looks at herself and sees something that she doesn't like. Have fun with your bf and don't let her ruin your vacation.

You just have to build confidence in yourself. I'm the same way and to this day I'm not able to get over it. I'm getting better but still insecure even though I can look at myself in the mirror and know that I'm good looking

Don't think or worry about it. Giving off vibes of feeling insecure definately makes people less attracted to you. When my girlfriend did that it drove me nuts. Just be yourself and have fun.

i feel this way all the time..
what i try to do is remind myself of all my other good qualities that she may not have..
she may a hot body.. but is she as nice? does she understand him as well, maybe your more fun to be with.. a lot of the same interests, goals etc.
Also i'm sure he's attracted to you as well..
so your best of both worlds :) the whole package!

just becuase you cant tan dont mean any thing ........you have to love your self be fore others can love you
