i already kknow im pregnant but how do you know how far along you are in your pregnancy, like how many weeks you are. my last period was on may 1st.

Hi! Usually a woman's fertal day is 14 days before their period, which was approx April 17th for you. Which means you are approx 10 weeks and 4 days. That said, you would probably be due Jan 22nd. 2007. That is if your periods are regular. There is a pregnancy calendar online you can bring up, and it's free. Also, you can get online to huggies.com, enfamil.com, and LOTS of other websites and they'll send you free stuff for your baby!! It's great! My best friend recently had a baby and that's what she did!!
I would recommend you contact your OB/GYN immediately. Usually your 1st checkup is when you are 8 wks.

You cannot always go by your last period. I had my period once at the beginning of my pregnancy. Best way to know how far you are is to go to the doctor and get a sonogram, they can measure how big the baby is from that and tell you how far you are. That's how I found out. Don't listen to people who tell you to count from when you had your last period, that is almost never accurate. Also things on the internet or in a book that tell you how to determine how far you are, only occassionally accurate. Just go to the doctor and get a sonogram done to get measured. Good luck.

I think your about 5-7 weeks pregnant! But I can't caculate untill I know the exact day you started your last period. You said May 1, was that the day you started or finished ? Anyways I'd say a good healthy 6 weeks! Congrads! I'm 3-4 right now.

they calculate the weeks by the start of your last period. If yours was May 1st then you are ablout 8 1/2 weeks. Mine was April 28 and I am at 9 weeks today.

Count back to your last period most of the time that's pretty accurate that would put you right around the 8 week mark need to get to the Dr. asap this is your critical time

you start counting from your Last Menstrual Period (LMP) so if your last period was May 1st then on June 1st you're 4 weeks pregnant, on july 1st, about 8 weeks

You would be around 8 weeks and 3 days and your due date would be around 2/5/07
