I wouldn't say giving love is cheating. I love my friends, but I'm not cheating on anyone with them. I shake a guys hand, give a girl a small kiss on the cheek, it's not cheating, it's just what I've always done, my parents did it, I learned it from them. But of course if I were to make out with a girl then I'd be cheating. Sexual thoughts, suggestive touching, that's cheating to me.

Cheating: doing anything to cause an unfair advantage; doing or causing to be done, something which caused an unfair advantage.
If you understand the LANGUAGE, it simply this. Doing any thing or causing anything to be done, that causes a loved one misery and emotional pain, for no reason, other than personal gain.
If you have a significant other (female or male), society says that you are only to give such attentions to that one person. However, if you were a Sheik or Emir, with many wives to satisfy >> you wouldn't be cheating!
What a STRANGE world we live in. On one side, they say NO; on the other, they say OK!!!

I think that cheating is an act of not being faithful to the one you are in a relationship with. And also the kissing touching thing

What I consider cheating is kissing another, doing anything sexual with someone other than your spouse. Intentionaly hanging out with someone that you for whatever are interested in and if you know they have a crush on you. If a person is cheating that means that you aren't spending enough time with your spouse. Hope this is helpful!

I agree with most of it. Sexual thoughts is a lot harder to control, and I know women and men will both have small fantasies about someone else, like a movie star. Heck, I just watched Tristan and Isolde and I have some happy thoughts about Sophia Miles (Isolde).

I don't think a man will ever stop having sexual thoughts about other women, but if he acts on these thoughts; i.e. has any kind of intimate relationship or sex with anyone else, or has e-chat-sex then it is cheating.

Cheating in my view, is doing things which you are not supposed to do physically. Thoughts are not under ones control, but still not giving attention to the significant other is not untolerable.

I agree with everything except sexual thoughts. Shoot, even Jimmy Carter( who I greatly admire) admitted to have lusted in his heart. Feeling the urges, but not acting upon them is not cheating, it is being human, especially for a male.
