I'd say Duece McAllistar. Morten Anderson was good but come on he wasn't the best in their history. Archie Manning, How many knew him other then as Peyton's father. Seriously if Peyton had come in the league how many would REALLY remember him? You can't be the best if you are a QB of a team called the AIN'TS. A QB has enough power to try to make a team better. I think he was at best a star on a bad team. That doesn't make him great.

Archie Manning seems to be the popular choice, but what about Pat Swilling, Ricky Jackson and the rest of the 80's linebackers who were so good. Jim Mora had a great defense and Bobby Hebert had enough attitude to make that team win games.

He's the father of an outstanding QB (Peyton) and a pretty good up and comer (Eli) but no way is he the Saints best player ever.
