Why is the letter W pronounced as "Double U" when it neither starts with D nor so it resemble the letter U at all when if anything it looks like two v's placed next to each other? Every other letter in the english alphabet has a name that represents the short or long sound it makes except for W.

Why not call and pronounce the letter "Wha" or something or to parody the existing name, "Wubblewoo?" It's so simple it's mind boggling.

I think yours is a good question in itself! Here are my ideas:

- How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

- If you had to die today, how would you choose to go?

- Are you living "the American dream"?

- Are we (as people) better off today than 150 years ago?

Hope you like one or all of these!

Do you think this country will ever reduce itself to another Civil War?
The country seems to be splitting apart more and more everyday, and not just over little everyday things.....it seems to grow more and more serious everyday. What are we doing to ourselves? What are we doing to forget country and countrymen? Is it the government, or is it just mankind evolving into what we someday become?

Why do so many of us fear death? Isn't it just the fear of not living anymore, or perhaps the idea that judgement awaits on the "other side"? Perhaps, it is because we believe there is nothing after death, or there is something after death, and the something frightens us.
