Proxima Centauri was discovered in 1915 by Robert Innes while he was Director of the Union Observatory in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Improve your spelling. It's "Proxima Centauri", and the discoverer is Robert Thorburn Ayton Innes, whoever he is.

If you mean: "who discovered that the Centauri system is a trinary system" then I don't know. I suspect that Galileo did, but he may have only discovered that it's a binary system.
