It might be that you are simply entered into a contest if you answer the survey, where one winner gets a laptop.

More than likely, it is one of these marketing services that claims you are getting something for free based on "participation". Participation consists of buying certain products or signing up for certain services which cost money. Supposedly, if you participate in the required number of "offers", they will send you the free gift. I have heard people that actually received Plasma TVs by doing this. I have also heard of people that bought a bunch of stuff they didn't need, thought they had met all the requirements, but never received their free gift or were told that they hadn't met all of the requirements. You could easily spend as much or more money fulfilling the participation requirements as you would spend just to buy the free gift. If you need the products and services required to meet the participation requirements, it might be a good deal as at least you stand the chance of getting something extra for free for buying stuff you would have bought anyway.

for real dont do it, i did once and then it made me sign up for this face cream crap and i paid the shipping and handling then 10 days later it took $106 outta my bank account. now im broke its a scam.
