Yes a girl can. For instance, when I was pregnant with my daughter, I did not find out I was pregnant until she started kicking me I went to the doctor the next week and I found out not only how far along I was but that I was having a girl. I was five months along. Needless to say that was a short pregnantcy. But I had no clue because I had no other signs of pregnantcy and I was having a period. I continued to have my period after finding out until I was about 7 months along. So yes take it from a pesonal experience that yes a girl can still have a period and be pregnant.

I've read that a woman can have her period and still be pregnant. It will be light of course. If you're pregnant and heavy there's a serious problem and you should seek medical attention.

No, thats how a girl knows shes pregnant when her period does not come when it is supposed to.

the bleeding wouldn't be considered a "period"..yes you can still have light bleeding and be pregnant...i had this happened and it turned out that i was passing a kidneystone...thought i had miscarried..nope...he's now almost 16!!

It is rare, but you can still have a cycle. Some women report having their cycles throughout their pregnancy, however, it is not common.

yes it can happen. it has happend to my friend. she had her period and was pregnant.
