A 5 year old will probably not be able to hit you hard enough, especially at 5 weeks pregnant. The baby is still very tiny and has a lot more protection. It is more dangerous when you are near birthing time because there is much less space between your skin and the baby.
As for the rest, who knows. It could just be the stress of having a pregnant girlfriend whom he isn't married to.

I was going on really bad amusement rides when I was 5 weeks pregnant. You know the 360s and zippers and the ones that love to make you hang upside while spinning you in 500 different directions.
After about 3 hours, I started feeling ill. The next day, I started throwing up. After a week, I went to the doc, told him, at first I thought it was from the rides, then I felt it was something I ate.
I was pregnant.
Your baby is fine.
But do not hesitate to call your doctor if it will make you feel better.

The uterus is protected until the 12th week by the bony pelvis, at which time it becomes an abdominal organ,
So a hit from a 5 year old shouldnt cause any problems.
If you are worried though go see your DR.

Everything should be just fine. The baby at 5 weeks is so small and so surrounded by your body that a small hit like that wouldn't even be noticed. I wouldn't worry at all.

your baby should be fine. like the others said the baby is very safe in utero. i highly doubt the child would have been able to hurt you, especially so early on. toward the end of my pregnancy when i was huge i used to bump into stuff with my belly all the time. i didn't mean to but it just happened. it was hard to gauge since i was obviously unaccustomed to having a huge belly. but....my daughter was and is fine.

From my understanding... your baby is in the safest environment he/she will ever experience.
The fluid-filled uterus is one of nature's smarter-than-smart safety devices for keeping us mammals going!!
It would take the penetration of an object into the uterus to harm the baby....or a really brutal and focused external impact.
It should be checked anyway.

since you are at a very fragile time right now (only 5 weeks along) i would go get checked by your doc, and by the way some men get cuvas(not sure on spelling) which is that their bodies make them believe that they are preg as well!!!
it is hilarious!!! it happened to my older brother when his wife had their first!
