there's a maxim in Hebrew saying: God gave, Got took.
(Elohim natan, Elohim lakah) - that may seem more realistic - when u talk especially in Religion and Spiritual thing...
And that quote u gave is used in matrix revolutions but was invented really before... maybe even 1000 years ago matrix series was published :)

It is a good quote which, as you can see by the responses, stimulates a part of human nature which receives less than its share. Today, most people's worlds are compressed in a manner which prevents or impedes thought that can transcend the human boundaries with which most are accustomed to.
The quote also can be perused in multiple ways, which epitomize the versatility in our thought.
There are philosophical responses which can reveal applicable reasoning. The quote also lends an opportunity for an esoteric response. Others will respond logically.
There are a great deal of quotes that can be admired for their thought-provoking characteristics. It's refreshing to discover people are still attracted to these things after the hustle and bustle which has diluted man's curiosity.

I think that the quote says a lot with just a few words. It's very true that everything ends at one point and yet as people we take for granted the things that will soon end. not only is it a statement, but it is saying that we all need to be grateful for what we have... While we still have it.

In theory at least, the quote is inaccurate.
In mathematics a "ray" or half-line has a starting point and a direction but only ends in infinity.
Since infinity in itself is a theoretical concept I suppose you could argue this in either direction.
I have to admit, I am stumped for any other example.

Since time is infinite and matter cannot be created nor destroyed, I think that beginnings and ends are a good way for humans to cope with situations from day to day. Isn't that why the calendar was invented?

When you're reffering to the temporal world we live in, you're right. But God has no beginning, and no end, and although our souls have beginnings (at teh time of our conception) we are given life-unending, to spend either in Heaven in bliss or to suffer in the depths of hell for the rest of eternity

It means that everything here in this world is not eternal.Anything that has a beginning will die or perish or distinct. All human beings
,creatures including all kinds of animal and trees will be died.or disappeared. The eternal one is only our God Almighty who has no beginning and no end.

Prove it. Our world has a beginning as proven by us all being here. But we don't know when or if the universe will end.
