my boyfriend has had flu like symptoms ever since we got back from europe. could this be mono though?

Neck swelling? Uh....he may have spinal meningitis. Get him to the doctor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it could be anything considering you just got back from Europe. go see the doctor today if you can get in. it might be a certain Europe sickness that only a doctor can diagnose and you don't want to have it get any worse than it is or spread it to you and others.

Could be mono - and that can get serious. Get him a doctors appt. ASAP.
Anything with the neck could also be meningitis.

its either mononucleosis or a strep infection. If it is mono there is no treatment but rest and lots of fluids....water not pop or tea. strep requires an antibiotic to treat.

If he's had it since you came back, he might have picked something up over there
