That depends... pre-marital sex is very risky, first of all there are the STDs, then there's the pregnancies and ect... On the other hand I would agree with pre-marital sex because there's the relationship, I mean some people aren't comfortable with being married because it makes them feel tied down, some are scared of being disappointed or to disappoint and some people like to experiment before settling down.

I'm presuming that the debate is one side against and one side for "pre-marital sex?"

As a parent, I've talked to my kids about waiting until marriage because your viginity is a precious gift that you can only give once.

As a realistic person, I hope that all people would think twice about why they are having sex: 1) self-satisfaction; 2) trying to keep a BF/GF; 3) peer pressure; 4) love.

Pre marital sex is really inappropriate. The reasons are many but to begin with, it leads to higher abortion rates as well as unwanted children that have to live on the State social services systems. Some of the problems there are that as a child grows older, they are somewhat less likely to become adopted. This leads to low self esteem with the child, and it also leads to more children being promiscuous. Children also feel that they are unlovable due to this. The child becomes the biggest victim. The people who are engaged in the premarital sex also have a higher rate of cheating and promiscuity in their lives. They also loose their self esteem and dignity.

Either Pre or Post its all in ur mind.. If u r really responsible and faithful to ur partner then i don't think its a big issue.... Sex should not be just physical attachment but also emotional!! Good luck with ur debate

i am against it because of the number of babies put up for adoption these days. if people would just wait untill marriage there wouldn't be half as many kids in orphanages. plus teens who are pregnant usually cant complete school and end up regretting it.

I think it's inappropriate, and if people went back to monogamy it would significantly lower abortion rates and the number of kids up for adoption. You really should wait till you're married.

Marriage is not an option for many couples these days. I'm all for it if you are in a strong relationship and using protection.

I think it is fine...you have to know that you are good together before you tie the knot, what if one is really bad and causes for bad sex then you get married and try it, then what do you do?
