so many things can cause headaches.. at times its hard to even tell what might of started them. although you are saying that you get these sharp pains across your head. that sounds like maybe you could have a migraine. i would call you doctor and ask if you can get in the office to day before the weekend starts and hopefully you will feel better. stress, food, smells, lack of sleep, poor diet, over exhaustion, exercises all can cause headaches.

I get headaches all the time and there are certain things that trigger them. For me, it's stress, chocolate, not enough water. Something else that will make me get a headache is when I'm really hungry. Make sure your getting enough to eat. It could also be sinuses if you suffer from allergies.

Your headache could be a migrane; sometimes when you get a migrane it is caused by an up coming storm in the preasant and near future! Ice helps!

You could have a touch of some kind of fever maybe. Stress is also one of the leading causes of headaches. Other than that...hmmm...do you wear glasses or contacts? If so, maybe it's time for a new perscription.

Stress is a big cause, so are allergies, foods, caffine withdrawl, along with any number of other ailments. If it keeps up, go see your doctor. If he is of no help, seek out a chiropractor for a conseltation.
