I always like the type that is fitted on top and flares on the bottom- you know, the ones that are cut in a similar way to the dresses that Donna Reed wore. They are flattering on everyone and they are very lady-like.

if your going to a party party wear a short dress
if your going to a nice party wear a dress thats like a tinktop top and a long bottom
and if your going to a ball wear a long dress
