Different color roses have different meanings. A yellow rose symbolizes friendship. Also, a yellow rose, I believe, is associated with Texas (where this comes from, I don't know). A white rose is innocence and purity. A red rose symbolizes passion. And, a pink rose (in between red and white) means love. But, for the most part, the rose, despite it's color, is a symbol of love.
The association of roses and love goes back to the ancient times. The rose was associated with the goddess Venus / Aphrodite (the goddess of love). The rose was her symbol. In Christian art, images of the Virgin Mary often include roses. At one point in history there was an association made between Venus and the Virgin Mary, so the association of the Virgin Mary and roses were also made.
Also, the rose is biologically related to the apple which has other associations in Christianity.
There are even further associations between the rose and sexuality. Rose blossoms (unopened blooms) are associated with innocence. Blooming roses are linked more with womanhood.

I really dont know all of them but white roses are just for friends and red roses are when u love someone.

Eh to be truthful i actually do unlike roses, this is via fact it variety of feels so unoriginal when I guy supplies me one, out of right here, i could like a purple rose, considering is my popular colour out of right here considering the fact that i'm enormously particular there is no pink roses, or gold roses, or silver roses. in case you have me a effective lilly even though i could be so happy considering the fact that those are my popular flowers. blondie.

Red mean love, yellow I believe is friendship not sure about white, my opinion is and always will be - whichever color is your favorite color is the one you should get.
