I thought we already voted on that....and the answer was no. If you really think he would have rocked the projects, why did he not re-run?

If Al Gore were elected instead of Bush in 2000 It is very unlikely that he would have done much different with Iraq or Afganistan. I base this on things he and Clinton and the Dems said in the 8 previous years. However he could not have done it with as much competence that Bush has. Fortunate for us that he was unable to steal the election in 2000. He would have been a miserable president. He realy wants to lie as well as Clinton but doesn't have the talent that Clinton had to make people believe his endless line of crap. Clinton was only interested in him self so he was mostly harmless. Al Gore is a loose cannon. There is no tellingfor sure what he might do. What ever that would be it would never be criticized by the press. And if he prosecuted the war as Bush has he would have had the full support of both parties in congress, and the press would be making him out to be a god.

Al Gore would be a great president! So would John Kerry! I just wish Bill Clinton, who was the greatest president in our history gauging by the prosperity of the nation during his watch, could run again! Bill, come to the nation's rescue before it is too late! You can get blow jobs 24/7 for all I care. Just start speaking out more!

Yes he would & obviously the American public thought so too. He already won the election which put Bush into power. The poor man wasn't to know that GW would be allowed to just ignore any vote from minorities he did not like.
It shows the type of man he is that he did not make a fuss. He let it slide because it would not have looked good to non-americans to see them squabbling. I think that gives us the measure of the man. Very like Bill Clinton, if perhaps a little less fun-loving.

Actually I think he is in a much better position right now to have an impact on public policy outside of the presidency. He is a wonderful advocate for taking action against global warming. I think he would be an excellent adviser to a president, but I am not sure he would be a strong candidate for president.

Al Gore is an uptight appearing individual with an intellecual bearing and background. The American voter is entralled by the golly, gee, shucks type of person Geo. Bush is portraying in his persona. As long as people are voting for a Neocon in sheeps clothing what can you do?

I'm a lifelong Democrat but I don't want Gore to be president unless there's no better alternative. Last time he ran, he played too much to interest groups instead of having a clear message. Now he's produced a good film on the environment, but I want to know how he intends to build a political majority in Congress to make serious changes; and I also really want to know how he will deal with Iraq and with immigration issues. I'm sick and tired of politicians who try to please everyone and avoid upsetting anyone, and unfortunately I see Gore in that group.

Al gore? The guy that made calls for campaign contributions from the white house? The guy that went to a religious institution and requested donations to the campaign fund?
They guy that wants to make every thing cost 20-30 percent higher by imposing strict environmental rules and let the third world nations pollute away?
Al Gore? The inventor of the Internet?
No Thanks!

He seems to be a better person. In his tenure as a vice President ,he generally carried himself well and displayed maturity throughout.Even during his campaign for President ship,he was dignified and proved himself as true statesman by accepting his defeat against his lunatic opponent.I am sure ,he would prove to be a much better President than most of the present lot of GOP and Democrats.
