For those of you who seem to think Al Gore is no longer in politics, I direct your attention to: http://www.kentucky.com/mld/kentucky/news/nation/14932748.htm

I do.....look, the man isnt getting anyone to go to his movie. Gore is fighting an uphill battle to run for Prez (not that he has a chance to win) and will try anything to get votes and money. When he gets ride of his SUVs then he can talk. He hasnt and is a hypocrit.

Probably unlikely. Yahoo would allow a similar question to be posted by President Bush if he would like to. Because of his notoriety, he too would likely get a feature spot.
However, that being said, don't think for a minute that Al Gore isn't playing politics by the nature of his question.

I would expect the same from any type of question that President Bush might post on this site, also.

How are they playing politics if you did your research Al Gore was one of the first people to be featured on this spectrum "ask the planet" , I think he had like the first question on this. Also, how is asking the world a question "playing politics " anyway .Do you think if the white house featured a question on here they would not post it. Come on man find something more useful to whine about

They're no more playing favorites for featuring Al Gore than they were playing stupid for featuring Ariana Huffington.

If they get a chance, they'll feature Britney Spears, Maya Angelou, Stephen Hawking and Osama Bin Laden. Big names draw people. It's the horrible reality of pop culture.

Don't think so!
Yahoo is not playing politics in Yahoo answer.
Just a plain simple community service of Al Gore.
If Al Gore wanted tolay politics he can do better than that.

I guess it's Yahoo's decision and not yours. Besides I haven't heard of Al Gore doing anything but pushing this great film. If the righteous wing want to start one sided Q&A somewhere I'm sure they can get the money from GE or somebody.

Al Gore is no longer in politics. He is campaigning for global warming issues, not political reasons. So, no, I don't think that it is political at all.

Looked at your article that you posted- it just said that Gore was refusing to answer. That doesn't mean anything. You have to read more than the headlines my friend.

Al Gore is not a candidate and has announced he will not be a candidate in the future and he's going to be a movie star with "Gore's War" about global warming so it's no biggie.

Not at all .... it is current pop culture because of the movie and the topic is not really political in nature.
