Hi!
You should take the mouse to the vet. He can give mousie some medicine to clear up the sore and prevent its itching so that it will heal.

My dog Lady was allergic to fleas and at one time she had what are referred to as "hot spots" (itchy places on the skin). I had to take her to the vet. He prescribed an antibiotic ointment and then when the ointment was all used up, he prescribed the lotion form of the same medicine. It is called Dermalone and it is the best I've ever seen for preventing itching. However, it can only be obtained through a vet. Please take mousie to his vet. The vet can tell you how to care for mousie and also he can tell you how to apply the medicine and how many times a day it should be applied.

It is probably just the start of some kind of rash. For a week or so, put a little alcohol and peroxide on the sore every day. If it doesn't go away, see a vet.

Sounds like an irritation. Could be the type of bedding your using. Most small animals are sensitive to the cedar oil commonly used in small animal bedding. Try switching to pine. If it doesn't do the trick, a visit to the vet may be in order.

Take it to the vet ASAP. It could be cancerous.

If it's not, the vet should be able to prescribe something to alleviate its discomfort.
