nothing you can do with limewire or similar software is ever going to be legal whether you use the free version or not.

The program is legal, but what many people use it for isn't.
It's sort of like asking if knives are legal when your intent is to use it for murder.
ps, dwight is an idiot. if I personally decide to share my program or music on limewire, IT IS LEGAL

it all depends on what you download - the program, and sharing files is completely legal, as long as you're not sharing copyrighted material.

So, basically, limewire is legal, but you using it to get music and movies that you'd otherwise have to buy is not.

Of course it is. If it was'nt then they would'nt have put the download on they're website. But the free version hav'nt got all the extras that the full version has.
