no i wrote a research paper a few months ago and in it, i proved that humans have nothing to do with global warming. in fact, i found that we only contribute to .28% of greenhouse gasses while the rest is natural.

I think we all need to ensure that we take care of our earth. But I am not convinced that the global warning proponents have a solid case. I had a physicist tell me that Florida was going to become a desert because of lack of rain. So I did a 110 year study and charted it for fun. Found that we have cycles every 10 years or so, but the trend was actually showing that there was an increase in rain fall over that 110 year period. So I couldn't get on board with that theory.
So I believe this is an agenda item that is being blown out of proportion.

Well you can believe what you want, but even an idiot can live in a place long enough to sense weather changes.
Where I live in NH, our snow has all but disappeared during the winter, and most of this month we have had to use the heat as the high temp, in the middle of June was 74 and lows were in the low 40's.
This change has been noticed here over the past 3 or 4 years.
We used to get snow in November before Thanksgiving. We are lucky now to get it by Christmas!!

Where do you people live? I have to travel through traffic jams everyday. I can tell you without doubt that standing in the middle of a disgusting jam is hot. Cars definitely heat things up. So where does the heat go? Does the earth have some cooling mechanism to get rid of all the extras? Does the earth just recycle its own heat? Does all this heat float off into outer space? Now that is a scary thought.

Efforts are still made only to prevent Global Warming. We assume Global Warming also, to be a natural phenomenon and we have already crossed our limits in preventing it.
Being Research Engineers we have made an attempt to suggest a solution to this so called Global Warming in the form of futuresystematization.
Visit www.geocities.com/futuresystematization for my survey on "Global Warming an approach to human survival"

Grasping at straws trying to scare people into voting democrat is disgusting. The only way to beat the republicans is to find something more scary than terrorism that the Dem's would be more apt to fix and that would be global warming. It's simply propaganda and something they should be ashamed of. Later, he could always turn around and say..."Well, the threat was real, we were just off by 200 years. So, I didn't,t lie."

Nobody knows what is going to happen. There is global warming but asking the US to be one of the few to stop polluting will not fix it. In third world countries you can barley breath because of the pollution in the big cities and they are still using pollutants that we banned 30 years ago. I would be in favor of a world wide reduction in pollution. But will not support increasing costs for us while other countries are allowed to spew toxic waste into rivers and in the air as Kyoto was set up to do.

Do you want to risk it?
Couldn't we live on a cleaner planet?
Do some reading on what the rainforests do, they cool the planet down and what will happen without them.
Also, read about ice sheets. being white, reflect the heat, sea, being dark, attracts it. When ice turns to water it, not only raises the sea level, but that new water attracts heat leading to more melting of ice etc.
This is a worldwide issue not about the ******* Democrats or Republicans!

I believe it and to those of you that don't answer this question:
Do you actually believe that all the pollution, oil and exhaust that is spewed into the atmosphere each day will not have some dramatic effect on the Earth?

Nope. Their have been a number of climate changes when humans had low technology. I don't believe man has the ability (bar nuclear weapons) of effecting climate change.
As you said its just a cycle.
